Fossil Park is located northwest of Mineral Wells, Texas. From Mineral Wells, head west on Highway 180.
Turn north on Indian Creek Road and drive approximately 2 miles to the Mineral Wells Fossil Park entrance.

What Can You Find?:
Pennsylvanian shark teeth like petalodus, trilobite's(mainly Ditomopyge), crinoids, huge range of brachiopods and other cephalopods as well as multitudes of gastropods.
Essential Things To Bring:
Bring knee pads, a screwdriver, hat, sunblock , plenty of liquids due to it is an open pit and it traps heat when it is sunny.
Dangers:
Heat, maybe snakes and insects but safe for the most part
